5 DAY WORKSHOP/KIRTAN

Anatomists and physicists confirm that at a cellular level the human body is made of vibration. Like any instrument, the body can be out of tune. Over the course of these four days, Jess, Deena and their kirtan collective Lila will lead participants through a range of yoga techniques to re-tune the body, mind and spirit and awaken a feeling of freedom. There will be cleansing exercises, meditation, bija mantra and kirtan (sacred chanting).

The Sivananda Ashram is a rare haven. It is located on a world class beach, tranquil ocean, and you are pampered with 2 delicious meals a day as well as daily yoga and meditation.

KIRTAN

After a month in India it will be great to be back with the Toronto Kirtan grew.

Kirtan is call and response sing and is described as the yoga of song.    Come join us for a fun night of community, dancing, singing and whatever else comes about.

In this 3-day weekend, Jessica and Deena Robertson and their kirtan collective, Lila, will lead you through yoga classes that re-tune the body, mind, and spirit, and awaken a feeling of freedom.

Jessica and Deena will use yoga and music to explore what it is like to feel inspired, curious, and full of life. Lila melodies carry Western, Indian, and Middle Eastern folk influences and will invite openness to change from the inside out. This workshop is great for everyone looking to

  • Take a break from teaching and become a student again
  • Awaken or renew a commitment to physical and mental health
